Objectives of the contest:

Propose sound priority directions for the development of science in Kazakhstan based on an analysis of past, current and foresight national (within the country), regional (in Central Asia) and international trends and features of the development of science and technology, as well as the most acute problems and opportunities of society.

Conditions of the contest:

By participating in the competition, participants give permission to the ‘Galym Project’ Public Foundation to publish their competitive works and photos on the websites and social networks of the ‘Galym Project’ Public Foundation.

Organization of the contest:

• All competitive works will be evaluated by an independent expert committee.

• 3 winners of the contest will receive cash certificates and diplomas. The authors of the best 10 essays will receive certificates for participation. 

Requirements:

• Structured and reasoned arguments.
• Competent and clear presentation of ideas
• Proper referencing of bibliographic sources.
• An essay should have only one author.
• The volume of composition should not exceed 1500 words.
• Written essays are accepted in Kazakh, Russian or English.
• Relevance to the topic of the essay.
• Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan over the age of 18 can participate in the contest.
• Each participant can submit only one essay
• Works written with any assistance, including Artificial Intelligence are not accepted. 

When writing an essay, the participant of the competition can describe his personal contribution to the current and future development of science and technology in Kazakhstan. We invite everyone who is not indifferent to the development of science and technology in our country to participate in the contest.

The results of the competition will be published on the galym.net website.
